The question

Understanding and explaining complex systems is a major challenge. Especially with a lot of data, and when what you really want is to predict what could happen. Can we build a model that enables better decisions and collaboration?

The approach

The simulation software and engineering teams of a machine builder bring their data together in a single data model. In it, the behaviour of the real machine can be tested in the virtual world. The lab develops that data model together with the client, and helps set up the right structures. That way an IX maker can link a visual layer to it.

The result

  • A well-thought-out data model for modelling the system.
  • A bridge to a game engine for the visual side.
  • Matchmaking with an IX maker.
  • Research and test groups to validate whether it really works in the process.
