About BRIX

Partners

BRIX exists thanks to the parties that take part. The difference between the five roles is not cosmetic: it is about what you bring in and what you are responsible for.

Mock-up

The consortium

The parties that carry BRIX together. They open up their labs, provide capacity, and are jointly responsible for the facility as a whole.

  • BUasMedia production and human interaction, Breda.
  • EnversedExperience lab and public venue in Eindhoven.
  • FontysDigital infrastructure for all of BRIX.
  • H20 ArenaLab in Purmerend. Sport, talent and IX.
  • MindLabsPrototyping and virtual humans, Tilburg.
  • Tilburg UniversityBehaviour and UI/UX measurement, Tilburg.
  • TU/eDigital twins and the built environment, Eindhoven.

Suppliers

Parties with a delivery obligation: they bring in a specific capacity, from certification to a mobile test lab.

  • Ex:plainCertification and examination.
  • InnofestFestivals as a test environment, mobile field lab.
  • iTanksPort of Rotterdam, training needs in industry.
  • Skill-GroupProfessional production and training.

IX expert partners

Studios and specialists from the field. They help build, and they are also the parties BRIX refers people to when a question calls for craftsmanship the labs do not have.

  • DialogueTrainer
  • Flash Group
  • Games for Health
  • Learnify
  • OWOW
  • TechKicks
  • TrainingWorkx
  • TrueSim
  • Virtual Life Support

Industry partners

Organisations that join the innovation agenda with a challenge. They bring the question, and often the context in which a solution has to work.

  • Babel Taalopleidingen
  • Bob-KobTraining provider for construction and infrastructure.
  • Brabant WaterEnergy and water sector.
  • Dutch Design FoundationOrganiser of Dutch Design Week.
  • Economie en Ruimte
  • InnomicsSpeeding up innovation in industry.
  • SPIE
  • World Class MaintenanceIndustry and infrastructure.

Training partners

Parties that provide learning around IX: education, training and the path from a skill to a recognised qualification.

  • YonderTraining and education.

Programme and funding

The parties behind the programme within which BRIX is being built.

  • FNSFuture Network Services, the 6G programme from the National Growth Fund, led by TNO. A sister programme, not a partner in the BRIX grant.

Becoming a partner

For long-term collaboration, BRIX organises itself around an innovation agenda with big challenges we want to tackle together as an IX lab. Can you contribute solutions, cases, funds, projects or challenges — or could you bring in knowledge or insight? Let us know, and we will gladly talk.

Are you an IX lab yourself, with capacity the network lacks? Then joining as a lab is a different route from becoming a partner.
