Dutch Design Week: the BRIX IX labs at Gamechangers
From 17 to 25 October, the BRIX labs are at Dutch Design Week. At Gamechangers, the Enversed expo in Eindhoven, each partner shows what its labs do. With cases from their own work, and with guided tours you can sign up for.
Gamechangers is the Enversed expo at Dutch Design Week. Its theme is the interaction between people, technology and change. The expo is in the Enversed Experience Center, on the first and second floor of Microstad in Eindhoven. It is open daily from 11:00 to 18:00.
BRIX is there with the labs of all seven partners: BUas, Enversed, Fontys, H20 Arena, MindLabs, Tilburg University and TU/e. Each partner has its own panels. They show who they are, what you can do in their labs, and cases from their own work. The QR codes on the panels take you to the labs on this site.
Those cases are now on the cases page as well: twenty-two examples of what the labs make and research. From virtual production at BUas to a virtual host by MindLabs, and from EEG research at Tilburg University to VR training in the H20 Arena stadium lab. The case texts are in Dutch for now.
Want to hear the story behind it? From Monday 19 to Friday 23 October there are guided tours of the expo, at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:30. A guide takes you past the stands, the demos and the partners. Allow fifty minutes; a group is ten people at most. You sign up on the Gamechangers site.
Above this article is the BRIX film, the same one as on the tour page. In just over two minutes you see what BRIX is, and how a single intake gets you to the right labs.
Questions about this? An intake is free and without obligation, and takes an hour. Book one.
