The question
Companies in industry and engineering can see that immersive technology could mean something for them, but get no further than a presentation. Without first-hand experience the question stays abstract, and no track gets started. How do you move a whole sector from interest to a concrete assignment in a short time?
The approach
Together with a sector partner, a day programme was set up in which companies from the same network bring their own challenge into the lab. The day combines short demonstrations on real equipment with guided work sessions. In those, each participant turns their case into a clearly defined first step. At the end, the lab and service that fit are chosen for each participant.
The result
- A repeatable day format, usable per sector and per location.
- Participants leave with a clearly defined follow-up question instead of an impression.
- Direct progression to follow-up services within the network.
- Sector partners mobilise their own members, so recruitment does not rest with one party.
