The question
An IX maker had to shoot footage at three locations: two in Europe and one on a moon of Jupiter. The crew had time to prepare the shoot, but the actor was available for only one day.
The approach
In the virtual production studio, the two European locations were captured with a 3D scanner. The moon was built digitally with AI tools. All three sets appeared on the LED wall, so the actor could visit them in a single day. The crew prepared the locations in advance, and the BRIX experts provided technical support for the production.
The result
- One actual shooting day, covering all three sets.
- Existing and fictional locations in one production.
- Knowledge transfer.
